Producer Paramesh is glad. His film Ganapa, starring Santhosh and Priyanka has been accepted well by the audience. The film has created massive impact over the past one week of its release and on demand, it will be released in more theatres all over Karnataka. “Ganapa is proof that content rules. Today, we are adding 50 more theatres and the film is running house full across all screens,” says the producer.
And if all goes well for Paramesh, Studio Green, owned by actor Suriya of Tamil industry might take up distribution rights for the Tamil version. “Negotiations are going on. We will soon decide how many theatres will screen the film in Tamil Nadu. It might take two to three weeks,” says Paramesh. Ganapa, directed by Prabhu Srinivas, throws light on Bengaluru’s underworld while sprinkling it with a bit of romance.
