When City Express contacted Sriimurali about Loki’s character, he said, “Loki’s performance will be the highlight. And we have been very respectful towards the particular character.”

Loki, who is playing the role of a Mangala Mukhi for the first time, stated that while he was not supposed to reveal much about the character, the preparation that went in for the role was worth talking about. “It was a difficult task. When the director told me about the character and the story, I took 15 days to revert, during which time I kept thinking, reading and watching everything related to the character. After much thought, I took it as a challenge and essayed the sensitive role with a lot of patience,” Loki said.

According to him, he had put on 10 kg for the character. “I could not recognise myself when I watched myself during the dubbing stages. It was a result of six months of dedication for the character in Rathaavaara,” he said.
