Sharan is geared up for the release of his upcoming film, Nataraja Service, which will be out in theatres from tomorrow. Nataraja Service is colloquial for ‘walk’ in Kannada and many regional languages and the actor believes that any Indian can relate to it. “Thanks to ‘the act of Modi’, everyone is walking towards banks and ATMs,” the actor says. “I now request people of Karnataka to walk towards theatres to watch Nataraja Service.”

The film’s makers had announced that they will accept the old ` 500 and ` 1,000 notes, but that plan had to be scrapped midway because rules do not have any exemption for entertainment. “Our distributors’ only intention was to grab the audience’ attention but we can’t run with that idea,” says Sharan.

He adds that he was not just talking for  Nataraja Service, with their innovative idea, but it was meant for the entire film industry. “We  only wish that the ‘utility’ was applied for cinema too.”
Currently, the government allows people to pay their utility (fuel and electricity) bills with the older currencies.

The actor, who plays the character Nataraja,  says that he lives for the moment. “Nataraja is the most happiest person on earth and that is how people would want to live today,” he says.
The film produced by NS Rajkumar and directed by Pavan Wadeyar features Mayuri in the female lead. Nataraja Service has Anoop Seelin’s music and Arul K Somasundaram’ cinematography.
