Having completed a heartwarming masterpiece with Godhi Banna
Sadharana Mykattu, producer Pushkar Mallikarjun now plans to tackle humour. He has picked a director who can stitch maturity, humour and life’s realities with Simple Suni.
Sunil Kumar aka Suni gets his name from his 2013 superhit Simple Agi Ondh Love Story.
The script for Pushkar's next is being written and shooting will start by November end. While the makers are yet to finalise the cast, they are likely to approach Anant Nag for yet another pivotal role.
"This particular character is tailormade for Anant Nag, once again," says Pushkar.
"We are yet to approach him and narrate the story. The film will be high on humour but there will be an emotional undercurrent too." Pushpkar tells us that he was in touch with Suni, during the making of Godhi Banna.., and had decided that his second project will be with him.
"We are planning to rope in the same technical team, who worked in Godhi Banna and therefore Charan Raj will be the music director for this yet-to-be titled film," says Pushkar, adding, "As for the star cast, we are planning to bring in freshers on silver-screen, for which we will be holding an audition by September end."
Meanwhile, Suni who has completed shooting for his upcoming film Operation Alamelamma is busy with its post-production. The film stars Shraddha Srinath and Manish Rishi.
