Chiranjeevi Sarja and Chaitanya to collaborate for the third time

The actor, who worked with the director for Aatagara, is currently shooting for Aake with the director and the third project will start from December

BENGALURU: After the success of last year’s Aatagara, Chiranjeevi Sarja and K M Chaitanya seem to be convinced that they make for a hit team. The two joined hands for an interesting Indo-British colloboration with a working title Aake which is now in the last leg of shooting with some patchwork getting completed. Following it will be another film from the duo, which Chiru confirms will start from December this year.

“I was blown by the script and I am sure it will bring in the same excitement with the audience when they watch. It has entertaining screenplay with a lot of interesting elements in every frame,” he says.

Although it is very rare to see the combination of actor -director doing back-to-back films in Sandalwood, Chiru says that they share a good rapport which makes it easier to work creatively. “We have built a bond after working for Aatagara and more importantly, the scripts by Chaitanya seem to be made for me. We have had constructive discussions about the script and he puts me in the loop while in the making which only enhances the whole picture,” says the actor who has been part of a variety of portrayals in his career. “From the love story Chiru in 2010 to a hardcore commercial like Varadanayaka, I have also experimented with films like Whistle which revolved around one character. So when I get a director who can show me in a different shade again, I don’t have to think twice,” he mentions.

Chiru is simultaneously shooting for Seizure, a film that marks the debut of Vinay Krishna.
