Actor Raj Vardhan’s debut, which was supposed to happen in 2013, is only becoming a reality now in 2017, with Noorondu Nenapu. The actor’s launch in Sandalwood was initially supposed to be FLY, but there were several obstacles linked to this.  The film has taken almost 3 years to make, and the shoot could only be completed last week. He has also completed shooting for another film, IRA, but the film is stuck now because the producer is not in the picture anymore.

However, the actor is very excited to finally be making his tinsel town debut. As Noorondu Nenapu sees its release in the coming week, the actor pours his heart out to City Express. He says, “The irony of the film industry is that even though I’m the son of a known artiste, Dingri Nagaraj, and have got his support, these factors couldn’t help me with my career. After 4 years of waiting, I have now realised that no fame or name can help, and that your career is based on destiny and on the day your film releases. I am really looking forward to June 9, when my film will release,” he says.

Noorondu Nenapu, directed by Kumaresh, has Raj Vardhan as part of the multi-starcast, and he will be seen sharing screen space with Chetan, Meghana Raj and Archana. “These days, producers hesitate to launch newcomers because they don’t get good openings. So I felt it was better to be part of an ensemble cast. Moreover, I didn’t want to sit at home after what I went through. Thankfully, the people from the industry who have watched the film have given me and the film good feedback,” he says.
Raja Vardhan hopes all his past struggles end after the release of Noorondu Nenapu. “My father is upset that he couldn’t help me in any way. I hope to cheer him up with Noorondu Nenapu, which I think of as a visiting card into the industry,” he signs off.
