In the many decades they have been in the film industry, this is the first time brothers Shivarajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar have come together on Facebook live, a social platform they use to interact with their respective fans.

They discussed Puneeth Rajkumar’s upcoming release Anjaniputra (on December 21),  working with Darshan and Upendra, doing a movie under Sriimuthu Productions and the audio rights of Tagaru bought by Puneeth’s PRK production house. But the duo then made their big announcement, which thrilled the viewers.

Shivarajkumar said that Puneeth and he will be coming on screen together in a movie that will also feature their brother Raghavendra Rajkumar in a pivotal role. “I recently heard a script that I thought was apt for both of us to work together, and I am yet to discuss it with Puneeth.

If he agrees, the film will be made,” said Shivanna. “Meanwhile, I will be going through a few more scripts before we take the final call.”

Shivanna also mentioned that Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar is his favourite as action hero, and next best to him is his brother Puneeth. It set off a fan frenzy on social media, who now seem to want this movie made soon.
