Puneeth, who has been tagged the ‘Power Star’ of Sandalwood, is known to be an elegant dancer. According to Karthik Gowda, the executive producer of Hombale Films, “Appu Dance song will surely be a treat from the star. Though, there has been a dance number by the star in almost all his films this song will have his fluid dance moves throughout, and will surely start a craze,” says Karthik. “Though, there is no comparison, but while the audience usually enjoy Allu Arjun’s dance, I can guarantee that this will be a better perfromance from Appu in this particular track,” he adds.

The dance sequence, with music composed by V Harikrishna, has been choreographed by Johnny Master with free-style moves. “The song will have Puneeth playing many superhero characters such as Shakthiman and Superman. There will be regular background dancers and 30 kids from a dance school in Tumkur,” says Karthik, who plans to give only a glimpse of the song with the teaser with the complete sequence saved for the theatres.

With the censors clearing the film with a U/A certificate, the Puneeth Rajkumar-starrer film is all set to release in around 300 theatres across Karnataka on March 24. “Raajakumara will also see simultaneous releases in multiplexes across Pune, Mumbai, Kochi, Noida, and Hyderabad among other places,” he says.
The is Santhosh Ananddramm’s second outing and his first with Puneeth, the movie also marks Priya Anand’s debut in Kannada. Cinematography will be by Venkatesh Anguraj.
