Longest shoot schedule till date: Ragini Dwivedi in America for 'Adhyaksha in America' shooting

Actor still has 20 days out of forty-day schedule left; meeting Kannadigas in America has been the highlight of the trip.

Ragini Dwivedi, who is currently shooting in the USA, tells us eating both lunch and dinner during daylight has been a funny experience for her. The actor, whose upcoming film is said to be tentatively titled Adhyaksha in America, will be paired opposite Sharan in the project helmed by debut director  Yoganand Muddanna. The team is on a forty-day shooting schedule in America, so Ragini is incomplete work-mode.

During a telephonic conversation with City Express, Ragini tells us that it is one of the longest schedules she has been part of. “It’s been 20 days, and we have 20 more days to go. Seventy per cent of the shoot will take place in America. We have been shooting in and around Seattle, Washington. While Sharan and I have continuous shoots, senior actors like Sadhu Kokila, Rangayana Raghu, Prakash Belawadi and Avinash have completed their portions and have returned home. We are planning to visit other states for the songs sequences, and I can assure that there will scenes with a lot of scenic beauty,” she says.

The best part about being in America, Ragini says, is meeting and greeting Kannadigas. “People from the Kannada Sangha, who found out about our shoot, are coming to visit us. It’s a pleasure interacting with them,” she says. Ragini is also excited about being part of a comedy film. “This year started really well for me - Kicchu was released, and I am now waiting for MMCH to release. To top it off, after coming back to India, I will resume shooting for Gandhigiri in Mysuru, in which I am paired opposite actor-director, Prem,” she says.
