Raghavendra Rajkumar's youngest son Yuvrajkumar honing skills for 2019 Sandalwood debut

The buzz around Raghavendra Rajkumar’s younger son, Yuvarajkumar entering tinsel town has been doing the rounds for a long time now. And for those who have been waiting, here’s the dope. Gururajkumar, who changed his name to Yuvarajkumar, will be the next talent from the Rajkumar clan, to be scorching the silver screen.  

The brother of Vinay Rajkumar is still learning all the tricks of the acting trade. His entry into Sandalwood is bound to generate curiosity owing to his family background. The new talent, we hear,  is also looking up to his uncles and established stars, Shivarajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar.

Yuvarajkumar, who holds a degree in architecture, runs an educational academy under his grandfather, Dr Rajkumar’s name, which coaches IAS aspirants. But acting has been his passion just the way it has been for his family members.

However, Yuvarajkumar is in no rush. The newcomer is taking it slow and steady and wants to debut at the right time with the right subject. It is said that he is getting trained in all aspects of acting. Apart from learning the basics of martial arts, gymnastics, dance, fitness, Yuvarajkumar has been keenly watcher the happenings behind the sets. This, he feels will help him sharpen his acting abilities.

According to those who have spotted him frequenting the sets, Yuvarajkumar is getting a practical overview of filmmaking. He feels the perspective of viewing cinema on the sets and on screen has changed with time. "Visits to sets are no longer a casual affair. He’s always asking about direction and camera work. He is also up-to-date with the latest technology about the cameras, lighting, different shots, editing, dialogues. Though the focus will be acting, he wants to understand overall movie aspects," our source tells us. Going by his preparation, Yuvarajkumar will be another actor to watch out for in 2019.
