Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla was last seen wondering who to choose- Mammooty or Mohanla l- in the climax scene of the blockbuster hit ‘Harikrishnans ’. She now returns to Malayalam cinema after a long break.
Juhi will be acting with Mohanlal in ‘Gaatha’ .
Shaji N Karun will direct this film based on ‘Kadal’, a short story written by T Padmanabhan. According to reports, Shaji was considering other Bollywood actresses like J aya Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit for the role but finally settled for Juhi.
The film’s shooting will soon begin in Ladakh.
‘Gaatha’ will be a musical film that will bring in a team of technicians from Hollywood. Chennai and Vienna are other locations for the film.
