KOCHI: Filmaker Sivan and his son Sanjeev Sivan on Thursday moved the Kerala High Court challenging the Single Bench order staying the presentation of the 57th national Film Awards for the Best Malayalam Children’s Film to Keshu.
The petitioner contended that when the film was adjudged at the state-level nobody had said that it was a remake of another Malayalam film. Keshu was selected to the Indian panorama and the film was screened at different venues without any complaints or allegations, the petitioners submitted.
The court posted the hearing on the petition to Friday.
