Mia George, who’s all set to try her luck in the Tamil film industry through her debut movie Amara Kaaviyam, feels that Kollywood has been much compassionate to her.

“I received great care from the crew members. The shooting days, I find, are slightly lengthier there but the care one receives from the members in the crew is immense,” says the pretty lass.

Mia plays a Class XII student named Karthika in the film and Sathya plays her classmate. This romance flick has been filmed with the late ’80s as a backdrop. The shoot, Mia reveals, was a challenging one, “As the film is based in the 1980s time period, we needed to change our attire and the locations we shot needed to be similar to the bygone era.”

She also shares some of the prized moments, “I would never forget the day when I fell from a cycle ridden by Sathya during the shoot. And yes, despite my poor fluency in Tamil I could manage memorising a lengthy dialogue and repeat it without a single mistake.” So, was Arya a regular visitor on the sets a witness to these happenings? “I met Arya only after the entire shoot. He congratulated me after the preview,” divulges Mia. But, she isn’t willing to sign any new projects before the release of this maiden flick.

“I haven’t committed to any new projects because at present I’m concentrating on my MA Lit,” she tells us.
