Tom Emmatty has proved his mettle as a director with super hit Oru Mexican Aparatha. Now, the director is all set to establish himself as an actor. Apparently, Tom will play the antagonist in Vayillakunnillappan, which is said to be a romantic thriller.
Tom confirmed to Express about the project. He said: “Yes, I am doing the project. However, it is too early to announce it. The director is in the process of selecting other cast and crew,” he said.
Meanwhile, Tom Emmatty is scripting his next. “Though my plan to make a 3D project about a real-life incident, I am putting that on hold as it is a big budget project. Instead, I am working on something else. So far, I haven’t decided on the cast. Now, I am in talks with the producer,” says Tom.
Vayillakunnillappan will be directed by Jino John who has acted in Maheshinte Prathikaram.
