AS his film ‘Yuvatha’ is racing towards 50-days, Nikhil (Happy Days fame) is on cloud nine. Especially after the success of his third film `Yuvatha’.

What overwhelms him is the fact that five to six production houses, including big ones like Aascar Films and AVM, have signed him up. “I am happy because everybody wants to make a film with me,” said an upbeat Nikhil.

Though enjoying all the limelight, this overnight attention has put him in a fix. ‘I am happy and at the same time I am clueless as to how to proceed.

Though I have signed six films I am not aware as to which film will go on floors first but what is certain is my next film will be on the sets by January second week,” he explains.

He has just returned from the success tour of the film across the State. Does he get noticed in the public. “They started spotting me after ‘Happy Days itself. Now the level of attention has increased. The moment I stepped out of my car in Annavaram I was mobbed by about 50 people identifying me as Yuvatha babu’,”he informs.

True to his character in ‘Yuvatha’, Nikhil is a mass guy in his real-life as well.

“I am the kind of a guy, who loves to watch a movie at RTC X Roads and relish biryani at Bhawarchi,” he discloses.

Now he misses all the fun. “Though it’s true that your privacy is affected when everybody tries to touch you, I enjoy it because this is what I always wanted and desired in life,” he says.

“My previous film ‘Ankit Pallavi and Friends’ was a decent one but didn’t satisfy us commercially whereas Yuvatha is running houseful in all the A, B and C centers,” he says.

“Yuvatha is a comedy-oriented film in the backdrop of a village. I speak in a typical Vizag and the East Godavari slang in the film. As director Parasuram hails from a village near Machilipatnam, he has given me sufficient training, he says. An Engineering graduate in the pursuit of his passion for the celluloid, Nichil has lots of wishes to be fulfilled over a period of time.

“Once stabilise I want to do off beat films and any kind of roles including villain, if it is challenging,” he disclosed.

As he is burdened with expectations, he has nothing in mind except the urge to prove himself as a good actor.
