Posani Krishna Murali is all set to spring a surprise with his Mental Krishna scheduled to be released in the last week of November. Krishna Murali not only dons the title role but also wields megaphone for the film.
The film gives out a message that one shouldn’t regard his wife as his property just because he married her, he explained. Satyakrishnan plays the female lead. “Some enquired whether the film targets any personality referring to Manda Krishna. I don’t make films targeting any individuals. If any film has objectionable sequences, as a citizen, he has every right to point it out,’’ clarified the filmmaker.
On being asked about his attire on wallposters: “If women can wear pants and shirt what is wrong when men put on a frock and jacket,’’ he asked at the film’s press meet in the City on Wednesday.
According to him, the film has everything, family drama, satire and comedy except politics. He vouches for the fact that the film doesn’t have any obscenity either verbally or visually. Sivajiraja, Surekha Vani, Editor Mohan, producer Mohan Vadlapatla, Yahoo Prabhakar were among those present on the occasion.
The film is going to be released in the last week of November. Usually heroes are shown protecting woman’s property, character and her family but Mental Krishna tries to protect her heart.
Sivaji Raja commented that Posani alone can direct and act in such films. While Surekha Vani felt that Satya Krishnan may win national award for her role in the film.
Mohan Vadlapatla is producing the film under Mohan Media Creations banner. Delhi Rajeswari, Editor Mohan and Yahoo Prabhakar were among those present on the occasion.
