It’s in the Spring (Chaitra masam) we get to see the beauty of nature in its full splendour as trees begin to sprout and flowers are in full bloom. And the makers of the film Chaitram (The Season of Love), claim that it is going to be a pleasant entertainer like the spring. Featuring debutants Surya and two new girls as hero and heroine, the film was launched at a recent function at the Ramoji Film City. Actor Rajnikant sounded the clap board.
Director Shankar directed the muhurat shot.
Regular shooting of the film will commence on May 15, said Vijay, who is producing the film under Rakesh Circuits banner. Raju Vupati makes his debut as a director.

Ramesh-Gopi has penned the dialogues. Chandrabose wrote the lyrics. Balu has scored the music.
