In what could be a first time of sorts, the charttopping Vijay-Trisha number is back in a movie now.
Alas, with different lyrics now. Appidi Podu, written by Pa Vijay, was one of the biggest hit songs in 2004, and featured in Ghilli. Owing to the song’s popularity, the tune was used for a Telugu movie Krishna as Adhara Gottu. In the film, the actress paired with Ravi Teja. Now, this Telugu film is being dubbed into Tamil and released. And the song, in Appidi Podu, has also been dubbed into Tamil with new lyrics. The song has now been written by journalist-turned lyricist Balabharathi and goes as Potta Kozhi.
