Remember Manoj Kumar? This cute looking guy is none other than the son of Tollywood’s ‘collection king’ Mohan Babu. Manoj made his debut in ‘Nenu Meeku Telusa’ that was later dubbed in Tamil version as ‘Ennai Theriyuma’. The film did moderately well at the box office and Manoj had more fans following him over here in Chennai.
His recent Telugu release ‘Prayanam’ directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti also witnessed good response. Producer Sita Yeleti of Aryaki Arts has planned to dub the film in Tamil as well. Although, nothing has been revealed about the film’s title, it seems that leading stars of Kollywood will dub for the voices.
The film is loosely inspired from Steven Spielberg’s ‘The Terminal’ where entire story is placed on backdrop of an airport terminal. But the similarities end here. ‘Prayanam’ is about a happy-go-lucky youngster on a global tour with his friends. At Malaysian airport, he comes across a beautiful girl, who’s on her way to India and falls in love at the first sight. Now, he has to impress that girl within couple of hours before the flight takes off.
