THE Malayalam multistarrer which set the Mollywood cash registers ringing the loudest, the high duty star powered Twenty 20 is all set to be remade in Tamil.

Being made in Malayalam to raise funds for the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes, the film was a blockbuster, and went on to create a record in its opening week. The film boasts of the who’s who in Malayalam cinema, including Mohanlal

Mammootty , Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, Dileep, Nayanthara, Karthika and Kavya Menon.

A race was on between producers to obtain the rights for remaking the film in Tamil, where such films with many heroes are a rarity.

The industry, in fact, had planned to bring the leading actors together in Rajinikanth’s 'Kuselan', to celebrate Tamil Cinema’s 75 years, but most actors, excepting Suriya and Sneha, opted out of it.

It is now learnt that Creative Combines, which is currently producing the remake of Jaganmohini, has finally bagged the rights of the film for a good price and is finalizing its cast for the flick, titled 'Irubadhu Irubadhu'. Many leading actors, who had seen the film, are eager to be part of this project, it is told.
