CHENNAI: Manoj (52), who worked as manager for actor Vadivelu reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at his house in Vadapalani here on Wednesday.
According to police, Manoj, a native of Madurai, had been working as manager for Vadivelu for
long period. His wife Pandishwarai, and two sons Pandithurai and Gunanithy were staying in Madurai.
Manoj was stated to be not in good health for the last few days. Even, Vadivelu had enquired about
his health on Tuesday morning.
Around 10.30 am on Wednesday neighbours found Manoj hanging inside his house. They alerted
police and also informed actor Vadivelu. Police sent the body to post-mortem and investigating
the reason behind his death.Vadivelu visited the house.
