Director Vishnuvardhan seems to be quite excited about his next film 'Sarvam'. In an interaction with the media post the audio launch of his movie, his enthusiasm comes across clearly. "I've never made a romanctic film before. So this is quite exciting for me. It is a romantic thriller and will show the lead pair Arya and Trisha in a new light. 'Sarvam' will be a visual treat," he promises.
Cameraman Nirav Shah, a regular hand in Vishnu’s films, has used several tones in the film unlike his earlier film, 'Billa'. Art director Manoj has worked wonders with the wide range of wallpapers used in the film giving it a different look. Costumes co-ordinated by Anu Vardhan have added to the overall experience, he claims. Introducing his cast and crew, Vishnu is all praise for the youngest of them all, the little boy Rohan. "He has had no film exposure and what you see of the boy in the film is what he is in real life," he reveals.
Clearly smitten by Trisha, he asks her to smile for us and then adds, "She smiles so innocently. That was what I needed for the character," he reveals. Vishnu admits his gratitude for Yuvan Shankar Raja for his music. "He has stood by me in all my films but 'Sarvam' is by far my favourtie album," he announces. Yuvan has sung two songs in the album while the maestro Illayaraja has sung one. Gita Kapoor, Kalyan and Dinesh have worked out the choreography. And what is the title all about? Says Vishnu, "The film is about five main characters. The underlying theme is about how everything or ‘sarvam’ changes in their lives. This can happen in our own lives, to anyone and everyone (sarvam) too," he concludes. Lets hope the film is liked by 'sarvam' as well!
A CROWDED AUDIO LAUNCH
The Audio launch of Ayngaran International Films (P) Ltd’s latest film, Sarvam, would be a memorable one indeed. Usually such functions are held in closed environments with a formal ceremony, amidst special invitees. So for the media who had to contend with surging crowds at the venue, the Chennai Citi Centre, it was a different experience to say the least! For the crowds that gathered to watch the starry cast and crew right in their midst, it was an unbelievable reality to actually see Trisha, Arya, Vishnuvardhan, Nirav Shah, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Krishna right in their midst.
Amidst a loud, cheering from an impatient crowd, the two enthusiastic emcees finally ended their long speeches and let the audio be released. That was after some lucky prizes won by contenders were announcd by director Vishnuvardhan. Dozens of mobile cameras were seen waving in the air as Trisha and Arya said a few words before the launch came to an end.
