COMEDIAN Vivek was all praise of Dhanush, whose Uthamaputhiran will hit screens on Deepavali. Vivek said, “Dhanush is an intelligent hero and he knows the importance of humour in films.” Vivek plays the role of ‘Emotional’ Ekambaram.
“At first I declined the offer as I don’t have any dialogues in the film.
But, Dhanush insisted that I do the role and it has come out very well. I wouldn’t repeat the same character in any film.
From producers, distributors and censor board officials, everyone called and praised me,” Vivek beams.
Speaking about the film, Dhanush said, “The film is a family entertainer with unadulterated comedy. This is the third time director Mithran R Jawahar and myself are teaming up. I’m very happy with his work.” Talking about his ladylove in the film, Dhanush says, “Genelia is a thorough professional and our online chemistry has worked out well in the film.” Produced by Mohan Appa Rao, Vijay Antony has scored the music. The film has a huge star cast including K Bhagyaraj, Karunas, Aarthi and Mayilsamy.
