After the success of Boss Engira Bhaskaran, Vasan Visual Ventures is producing the Jiiva-starrer Vandhaan Vendraan. The film is directed by R Kannan, who has given films like Jeyam Kondan and Kandaen Kadhalai. “Jiiva plays a boxer in the film and so he trained under the watchful eyes of a professional coach. The film will be an entertainer with love and action. It was very hard to shoot at Dharavi in Mumbai, so we’ve erected a set worth `1.5 crore and the shooting is in progress in Chennai,” informs the director. Tapsee pairs up with Jiiva in the film. Music by Thaman, the shooting is in progress in Mumbai and Chennai.
