Choreographer-turned actor Raghava Lawrence is known for his gesture to help the needy. He has formed the Lawrence Charitable Trust which supports the deprived and the physically challenged. Soundarya Rajinikanth is know to have donated Rs 15,000 towards this trust and is continuously supporting it by donating Rs 15, 000 every month. On the occasion of Soundarya’s wedding, on September 3, Lawrence on behalf of his trust will organise the annadanam (free distribution of food) and provide food to more than 1,000 people at the Raghavendra Temple (built by Lawrence) at Ambattur.
