The audio launch of the much-awaited Vaagai Sooda Vaa, the period flick by director Sargunam of Kalavani fame (for whom this is the second film) was a star-studded affair which took place at the Sathyam Cinemas. A period flick set in the 1960’s, the film is based on love story with Vimal (of Pasanga, Kalavani and Ethan fame) and newcomer Iniya in lead roles. K Bhagyaraj, Ponvannan and Thambi Ramaiah also play important roles in the film apart from others. The film is produced by S Muruganandham & N Puranna under Village Theatres. Background score and music, which is said to be one of the highlights of the film, is by debutant Ghibran and has six songs. Bharathiraja, Vairamuthu, Ameer, Radhika, Cheran, Simbudevan and Prabhu Solomon among others graced the occasion.
