Since the age of eight, he has been playing the keyboard and piano. The 27-year-old performer Navneeth Sundar has given over 1,000 performances for both classical and film musicians. Having composed a title song for Madhavi,  a mega-serial on Sun TV, the young musician is all set to make his debut in Kadavul Padhi Mirugam Padhi, directed by Raaj Menon. He has also signed a Malayalam flick, Karmayogi, which is already in production.

His compositions range over a variety of genres. Navneeth has also been featured in various albums and singles and has performed with leading artists like, AR Rahman, in Semmozhi Anthem video.

Navneeth was first noticed for his jingles on Asianet and later for the title song of Madhavi. The young musician has also bagged an untitled Kannada film.

When asked to choose between independent music and film music, Navneeth candidly replies, “Both have their own charm. While the script and the situation inspire me in film music, the sound and the scope for experimentation give me the drive towards independent music. At the end of the day, the composer has to be versatile and reach the pulse of the audience”.

Talking about Karmayogi, Navneeth informs, “I’m doing only one song in Karmayogi. My Tamil project, Kadavul Padhi Mirugam Padhi is a multi-starrer film that has Oscar winner Resul Pookutty, doing the sound design. It is produced by Raj Zacharias under the banner Red Carpet Entertainment.”
