Director CS Amudhan, who shot to fame with his spoof on Tamil movies, Tamil Padam, is ready to officially launch his second movie.
Interestingly, it has been given the title, Rendaam Padam, which literally means second movie.
While it was earlier reported that the movie had been titled Thalavali and features lookalikes of actors Ajith and Vijay, a source from the industry assured that Rendaam Padam is the final title.
The source also added that actors Vimal, Vaibhav and Kadhal Virus-fame Richard play the lead roles.
When contacted, Amudhan said that other cast members hadn't been finalised yet and added that he wouldn't want to reveal anything more about the project now.
It may be recalled that his first movie, Tamil Padam, which had made fun of glitches in Tamil cinema, had come in for some sharp criticism from various sections of the society.
Dayanidhi Azhagiri had turned producer with Tamil Padam, launching the movie under the banner Cloud Nine Movies.
The movie was released with the tag line -- Sathyama Ithu Vithiyasamana Tamil Padam Alla.
