Her anger is as evident as her eagerness to prove her innocence. Actress Nicole is clearly distraught and dismayed over the turn of events that have taken place in the last two days.

It all started with Raj Krishna, the director of the film ‘Oru Nadigaiyin Vaakumoolam’, claiming to a section of the press that the actress had been causing a lot of problems for him and his crew.

The director had claimed that the actress had insisted that they settle her payment beforehand and that she had refused to come to the location from her room before the settlement.

Says actress Nicole, "What he has said is untrue. I was originally told that I would have to stay for 10 days to complete my portions. But then, they made me stay for 20 days. Even during those 20 days, I only shot for five days and I was made to wait the remaining 15. But I never complained. So, there is no question of being non-cooperative. Now, he has claimed that I am the only one who has not given extra dates. I wish to clarify that he has changed the story. While we were shooting, he would complain to me that Sonia Agarwal was not giving extra dates.

“As for his allegation pertaining to my transportation, I requested him for tickets for a direct flight from Pune to Chennai as my mother is a heart patient. I requested tickets for a direct flight because she is on a wheel chair and taking a connecting flight involves quite a bit of hardship. Despite my requests, I was only provided tickets for a connecting flight. I did not complain even then and took the flight."

The actress pauses to catch her breath before continuing, "Finally, with regard to the claim he has made about payments and my demand for settlement of dues, I wish to state that I only requested him for the 25 percent that was pending to me. That too, because on the last day of my shooting, they told me I had three scenes. Of those, I was told my presence was needed in only two scenes. So, I returned to change when the director came and told me, 'You can go. It's pack up for you'. He then started giving me advice about how one needs to cooperate. As of then, I had completed all my pending portions. They are putting the blame on me now because they want me to do one more day of shoot. Till yesterday, I was willing to accept their demand. But today, after the manner in which he has spoken about me to the media, I am not going to accept. Let him pay me for the extra day of shoot."
