The latest news that is making the rounds is that the Vaagai Sooda Vaa actress has opted out of Bharathiraja’s film, Annaikodiyum Kodiveeranum. Shooting for this film is yet to begin. Now that the strike has been extended, reports say that Iniya has walked out of the project.
However, when City Express contacted the actress, she trashed this news and said, “It’s just rumours spread by some web media. I have not opted out of that project. I’m still waiting for the shooting to start. This is just wrong news!”
She further said that the director had confirmed her role and there was no change in it. “I’m playing one of the heroines in the film. I’m actually looking forward to this film, as it’s my first mulit-starrer, so it’s definitely going to be a lot of fun on the sets.” Currently, actress Iniya hasn’t signed any projects in Tamil and is in talks with directors for her Malayalam projects.
