The last schedule of shooting for Sillunu Oru Sandhippu began a couple of days ago and actor Dipa Shah, who used the break to feature in commercials, was back to complete her remaining portions of the film.
The actor plays the role of Charu, wife of Vimal in the movie, and says she didn’t accept the role immediately. “Director Ravi spent a lot of time convincing me to play this role,” says Dipa. The actor says she wanted to be doubly sure before she did a film as she is keen on working in olny those films with a good script and strong character.
“I’m not against people who do many films at a time. But I would like to concentrate on one film a time. I want to give my characters a lot of attention. Most importantly, I want to feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera,” she adds.
The model-cum-actor, who first appeared in Mysskin’s Yuddham Sei, says she accepted the movie because of the respect she has for its director Mysskin.
“Before we started working on Yuddham Sei, he showed me Nandalala and I was blown away by it. I then decided to work with him and played the cop in Yudhham Sei,” adds Dipa.
