Ace photographer Sundar Ramu started his Kollywood career with films like Mayakkam Enna and 3, which made him a known face among audiences. The actor, who has extensive experience in theatre, has been taking his time choosing his roles.
Sundar was recently seen in a small role in Bejoy Nambiar’s David. “I played the guy who stabs the politician in the end,” Sundar reminds us.
After that special appearance, he seems to be back on track with a meatier role in Red Giants Movies’ next film starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Nayanthara. The film is titled Idhu Kadhirvelan Kadhal and directed by the Sundarapandian fame director S R Prabhakaran.
Sundar is playing Udayanidhi’s friend in the film, which has just gone on the floors recently in Chennai.
Sundar is also slated to be doing a role of a gangster in an untitled film, the details of which he is not willing to divulge now. On the long gaps between films, Sundar says, “I kept getting offers to do similar roles. I want a variety even if it means negative roles. So I took my time.”
