South Indian actress Sandhya renowned for her award-winning debut movie 'Kadhal' got married on Sunday morning.
According to a report, Sandhya entered the wedlock in Kerala's Guruvayoor temple. Initially, the wedding with Venkat Chandrasekharan, an IT employee was to take place in Chennai. However, due to the unfortunate flood ordeal in the city, it was shifted to Thrissur district.
Not just that, Sandhya's family were stuck in their apartment without any means of communication with the groom's family. Soon after the network was restored, they shifted the venue and tied the knot with last minute arrangements on Sunday morning. Nevertheless, a grand reception is expected to take place in Chennai soon after things settle down to normalcy.
Sandhya was last seen in a cameo appearance in the Tamil film 'Kaththukkutti'. She is expected to resume her acting career post marriage, as she has already signed up for films in both Tamil and Malayalam. Some of them include, Thimiru 2 - Veri, Soodhattam and Puzhayum Kannadiyum in Tamil.
