Actor Nakul, whose last film Tamilukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum was critically acclaimed, on Sunday wed his girlfriend Sruti at the Rani Meyammai Hall in the city.
Nakul's parents, Jaidev Betarbet and Lakshmi Betarbet, and Sruti's parents, A V Bhaskar and Jamuna Bhaskar, were seen greeting guests at the wedding, which was held between 9.30 and 11 in the morning. Sources present on the occasion said that Nakul tied the Mangalsutra at exactly 10.41am. The event was graced by close friends and family members of both partners.
A wedding reception is to be held in the evening for friends of the couple from the film industry.
