Director Thiru has roped in two National Award-winning directors—Agathiyan and J Mahendran—for his next, Mr Chandramouli, starring Karthik and his son Gautham Karthik in the lead.
Incidentally, Agathiyan is Thiru’s father-in-law. The latter says, “I feel proud to have brought these legendary filmmakers on board. Also, I realise I need to fulfill the audience’s expectations. Our title is a huge advantage as well. All these positive factors will put our film on par with the best.”
While J Mahendran plays a successful businessman, Agathiyan plays Karthik’s friend in the film. Mr Chandramouli also stars Regina Cassandra, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Sathish in important roles.
