HYDERABAD: The Ravi Teja and Sriya Saran starrer ‘Don Seenu’, which was released last week, has bagged an impressive box office collection of Rs 85 Lakhs on the very first day.
Malineni Gopichand has directed this mass entertainer movie, which hit the theatres on August 6. The whopping return that the movie has poured in is believed to be the best that a Ravi Teja film had ever made.
‘Kick’ is another blockbuster by Ravi Teja, which earned him Rs 62 lakhs on the opening day. The makers are expecting ‘Don Seenu’ to surpass the collections of ‘Kick’. RR Venkat of RR Moviemakers has produced ‘Don Seenu’ and V Suresh Reddy has co-produced it. Achi Reddy has presented the movie, which has cinematography by Sameer Reddy.
Actress Anjana Sukhani has made her Telugu debut with this movie. The movie also stars Brahmanandam, Sayaji Shinde, Ali, Krishna Bhagawan, Sunil, Raghubabu, Brahmaji, Nazar and Delhi Rajeswari.
The Central Board of Film Certification gave a U/A Certificate to the movie on August 2, 2010.
