Nayantara remained a vegetarian so long as she was shooting for ‘Srirama Rajyam’ directed by Bapu and produced by Yalamanchi Saibabu on the banner of Sri Sai Baba Movies, in which she played the role of Sita.
Balakrishna is playing the role of Lord Rama, and the film is the remake of all-time classic of the late NT Rama Rao ‘Lava Kusa’.
The director and the members of the film unit were surprised at her dedication towards the profession and appreciated her.
Despite the dedication, there was one problem that cropped up. Director Bapu expressed his apprehension about the mole on her lower lip as it would hike the sex appeal of her character in the film. However, Nayantara refused to cover it because she had some sentimental value attached to it.
Finally, asked the technicians to remove the mole with the help of graphics and Nayantara agreed to it.
