The arrangements of Jr NTR's marriage with Lakshmi Pranathi are progressing at brisk pace at HITEX. Both the bride and bridegroom's houses are completely involved in the preparations.

Talking Trousseaus

Rumour has it, the actor is going for a very traditional pattu pancha with a kaddi border and pattu lalchi sans the turban that Bunny was seen sporting on his big day.  While the groom is going low key, we hear that the bride is going traditional at its opulent best. According to a source, the bride-to-be Lakshmi Pranathi might wear a Kancheepuram saree. “She had gone to Kancheepuram to pick up three sarees. She might probably wear a full-gold saree costing a whopping Rs 50 lakh. The other two sarees are in the range of Rs 30 lakh each," said the source.

Yet another source close to the family tells us that the bride had purchased the jewellery first and her trousseau was designed to suit them. Apart from sarees for the Gauri Puja and other pre-wedding ceremonies, Lakshmi's pradhanam saree is said to be a visual feast  in yellow with a chutney green border adorned with swans and elephants.

Pricey Mandap

According to the family members, a kalyana mandapam is being erected at a cost of a whopping Rs 18 crores under the supervision of art director Anand. Around 300 workers are working day and night to complete it.

Special Song

A special song has been composed by Arjun for the wedding. Chaitanya Krishna and Geetha Madhuri have sung the track, while Vasanth has penned the lyrics.

Guest List

The Nandamuri family is expecting more than 10,000 guests, including relatives, politicians, celebrities and fans. One of the best catering companies from Vijayawada is preparing the food for the marriage.

Fancy Invitations

The invitation card, which costs around Rs 3,000 each, resembles a family album.
