

In her sixth year in the film industry, where she has dominated with her choice of films and balanced performances, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is mature enough and knows where to find optimism in a story. The actress recently did so, when she watched the trailer of Pawan Kumar’s upcoming film U Turn.
Apparently, Samantha has shown interest to do the remake of the film in Tamil and Telugu.
The actress was in the city on March 18 and watched the preview cut at Pawan’s office. She was accompanied by actor Naga Chaitanya. Pawan, who did not want much publicity about it until everything got confirmed, However he revealed, “Samantha spoke to me after watching the trailer, went through the script and watched the preview cut. We have been discussing how the remake should be if at all it happens.” As for Naga Chaitanya’s presence, Pawan clarifies that the actor is a fan of his earlier film Lucia and just wanted to watch the upcoming film. “So, he came down along with Samantha,” says Pawan.
The director is right now discussing with the producers of U Turn, whether they would want to do the film in Tamil and Telugu. “Samantha wanting to do our Kannada film in Tamil and Telugu is good news. But, we are still looking for a producer. I will be able to officially make an announcement once everything gets finalised,” he says.
The film features Shraddha Srinath Dilip Raj, Roger Narayan and Radhika Chetan among others in the star cast.
