Director Kishore Tirumala is bracing up to see the audience response for his third film Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi, a film that touches upon subjects such as friendship and love and features Ram, Anupama Parameswaran and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead. “Honestly, I had developed a school of thought that every film has to be made like my first film. I want to prove myself with each film and apparently, I had to deal with a lot of pressure. In the process, I get drained and exhausted too,” said Kishore.
How did the idea of Vunnadhi Okate Zingadi germinate? “I have many friends and I took some particular aspects happened in their life as an inspiration for this film. I penned the script a year-and-half ago and narrated Ram while he was shooting for Hyper in Visakhapatnam. The film has a conflict point told in a simplistic and interesting way. The narration and the characters will definitely strike a chord with the audience,” he added.
Briefing about Ram’s role, Kishore explained, “Ram plays a cool, easy going lad, well-mannered and exuding best of Indian and Western culture. He knows where to draw a line and he acted with a great ease. As for other characters, Anupama Parameswaran’s performance will win the hearts and Sri Vishnu too did a fabulous job as Ram’s best friend.”
Early this year, Kishore announced a film Adavallu Meeku Joharlu with Venkatesh in the lead. But, the project was put on the back-burner and the Nenu Sailaja director has moved onto Vunnadhi…. Asked if the film is still happening, Kishore maintains, “I feel the story for Adavallu… needs improvisation and so, I asked Venky sir sometime to arrive with a convincing script.
