MERCEDES BENZ V-CLASS: January saw the luxury carmaker enter the Indian MPV market. Despite its high price, it found takers thanks to its 'office on wheels' appeal.
HONDA CIVIC: Honda's old warhorse made a comeback this March, this time in the avatar of a sports coupe.
MAHINDRA XUV300: India's favourite SUV-maker Mahindra came out with this mini-SUV in February. With its sleek looks, the car appealed to many.
HYUNDAI VENUE: The Korean giant made its entry into the compact SUV market this May. The car, which was termed India's first 'Connected Car' (a feature which helps the car communicate bidirectionally with other systems outside it), garnered a positive feedback.
MG HECTOR: The British automaker's arrival in the Indian market in late July was one of the highlights this year. Apart from its huge size and power, its tech-enabled features included internet connectivity enabled by an e-SIM.
MARUTI XL-6: Maruti's competition to its own baby, the 'Ertiga', came this August. The revised styling and petrol-only option differentiated the new launch from the original.
KIA SELTOS: The Korean giant, which finally entered the Indian market this August, more than lived up to the expectations. However, despite being feature-rich, some customers complained of the after-sales service.
HYUNDAI GRAND i10 NiOS: The successor of the Hyundai Grand i10 came as a peppy hatchback this August. However, a neat cabin and fresh features didn't help the sales figures much.
RENAULT TRIBER: The French carmaker finally launched its compact MUV in August-end. Despite its size, the seven-seater with its low pricing and versatility won many hearts.
