Avengers: Endgame final fight scene had callbacks from Spiderman, Iron Man and Age of Ultron! Here are 18 awesome references from other MCU movies for true fans

'Avengers: Endgame', MCU's most successful movie ever,  was released in India this day, last year. As the story finally come to a close with 'earth's mightiest heroes' giving everything they had in their final stand against the 'mad titan'. A big chapter in MCU's history was coming to an end and the Ruso brothers obviously introduced sequences that could lit up hardcore fans' memories. Here are a few callback scenes from 'Endgame' decoded, just in case you missed. Warning: Spoilers galore.

HOPE CALLS ROGERS 'CAP': As the battle with Thanos wages on, Rogers asks his teammates to get their hands on Scott's time machine-carrying van. Hope van Dyne aka Wasp is quick to respond on the behalf of Scott as she says 'We're on it, Cap.' The duo shares a quick smile as well before setting off. This is a reference to 'Ant-Man & Wasp' when Scott briefs his adventure with team Captain America in 'Civil War' where he mentions Captain as 'Cap' and Hope makes fun of him.

We see Captain laying motionless beside his broken shield along with other members of the team. In 'Endgame', repeated blows from Thanos' double-bladed sword rip through Roger's vibranium weapon and we see him land with a broken shield -- very similar to the one Tony sees in the dream -- as he is kicked away by the titan.
CAPTAIN'S BROKEN SHIELD: Scarlett Witch messes with Tony Stark's mind in 'Age of Ultron' forcing him to dream a future where the Avengers fail a war and all his comrades fall. BUCKY-ROGERS 'STUPID' REMARK: Not many fans knew Steve Rogers isn't planning to come back as he steps up to return the Infinity Stones to their original timelines. 'Don’t do anything stupid until I get back,' he tells Bucky - who takes a moment, then smiles and retorts, 'How can I? You’re taking all the stupid with you' before hugging his friend. This is a replica of a scene from 'The First Avenger' when Bucky bids Steve farewell before leaving for war. Captain was just reminding Buck of the old incident or giving him a dose of his own medicine. Maybe it was a hint at what he was up to. Clearly, the Winter Soldier knew what his friend had in mind and we all learnt it a few minutes later.
