#1 KADALUNDI BIRD SANCTUARY: Organised by the by the Eco-tourism society, Kadalundi -- India's first community reserve -- offers an eco-friendly boat ride through its mangroves. #3 CANOLI'S PLOT: Named after British Malabar the district collector HV Conolly, it is one of the oldest teak plantations in the world. It is also home to a grand old tree which is the oldest surviving member of the 'Kannimara' teak family. It is historically important for Kerala as well as it was the venue for the 'Mamangam' festival held once in 12 years.
