According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has reclaimed the position of the richest man in Asia from Chinese Jack Ma with a total net worth of $ 51.7 billion - $6.5 billion more than the latter. According to the real-time ranking, Mukesh Ambani is the 17th richest person in the world. Here are the ten richest people in Asia - list dominated by Chinese business magnates. Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries (RIL), is the 17th richest person in the world. The 63-year-old recently made a mega deal with Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook Inc on which is said to be India's largest tech sector FDI deal till date.

China's richest man, 55-year-old Jack Ma is the co-founder and former executive chairman of Alibaba Group - which is known as the 'Amazon of the East.'

Ma Huateng, better known as Pony Ma, chairs Chinese Internet giant Tencent Holdings which owns China's popular messaging app 'WeChat'. The 48-year-old ranked 27 in the Forbes list of Powerful People in 2018.

In November 2019, 40-year-old Colin Huang nearly doubled his wealth owing to the success of the online shopping site he co-founded - Pinduoduo. The company's stock has climbed 91% since 2018r, boosting Huang’s wealth by roughly $10 billion.

The 91-year-old Li Ka-shing is listed as one of the most influential businessmen in Asia by Forbes. His multinational conglomerate CK Hutchison Holdings Limited got investments in the fields of energy and telecommunications, infrastructure, ports, and retail.

The only woman to feature in the list, Yang Huiyan, owns 57% share in real estate developer Country Garden, which was founded by her father. The 38-year-old is also the sixth wealthiest woman in the world.

Owner of clothing retailer Uniqlo and its parent company Fast Retailing, 71-year-old Tadashi Yanai is Japan's richest man. Currently, he is the 36th richest person in the world.

Founder of online game company NetEase, Ding Lei alias William Ding played a pivotal role in the development of computer networks in mainland China. Ding's company had reported revenue of 67 billion Yuan ($ 10 billion) in the year 2018.

92-year-old Lee Shau Kee is a real Estate tycoon who stepped down from leading the Henderson Land Development recently after handing over the reins to his two sons. Popularly called the 'Fourth Uncle' in Hong Kong, his empire also operates in the fields of finance, department stores, infrastructure and hotel service.
