Hyd’s Pharma City to have airstrip, MMTS

HYDERABAD: The master plan of the proposed Hyderabad Pharma City will be ready soon and it will  have multi-modal transport system and an airstrip.
Industries minister KT Rama Rao on Saturday held a review with representatives of Singapore-based Surbana Jurong Private Limited, which is entrusted with the responsibility of preparing the master plan for the Hyderabad Pharma City.

The representatives of Surbana Jurong explained the details of master plan to KTR. He said land acquisition process for the pharma city will be completed before the master plan is ready.
The Outer Ring Road and the proposed regional ring road and other important roads will be connected to the pharma city. KTR said the pharma city would have zero discharge and the nearest reserve forest would be developed and protected with help of the pharma companies.

Meanwhile, family members of medical student Sandhya Rani called on KTR on Saturday in Hyderabad. They explained that Sandhya Rani committed suicide unable to bear the harassment of Prof Lakshmi.
KTR called up AP health minister Kamineni Srinivas and requested him to help the family. He said that Prof Lakshmi’s husband too will be removed from the government service.

British team calls on ktr
Britain Parliament delegation called on industries minister KTR and discussed improving the business relations between UK and Telangana. KTR wanted them to start off a campus in Hyderabad in collaboration with UK universities for aerospace sector.
