Hindi version of Mr Airavata rakes in 7.1 million views

Seems like the Hindi dubbed version of Mr Airavata, which bears the title Vardiwala - The Iron Man — has charmed millions of Hindi-speaking movie buffs. The film starring Darshan and directed by AP Arjun is having a record breaking run on social media with the film currently being watched by 7.1 million viewers.  

Mr Airavata produced by Sandesh Nagaraj also featuring Urvashi Rautela was released in October 2015, with the Hindi version of the film being sold at a high price back then. An elated director, says that this is a first  for a Kannada cinema.

“Our film stands second after Baahubali, whose Hindi version has been watched 13 million times on YouTube. I now realise that there is an unimaginable craze for Kannada films too,” he says.
The other Kannada films that have been on the popular charts are Yash’s Masterpiece and Sudeep’s Ranna, which had three and two million viewers respectively. Meanwhile, Arjun gets ready for his next project KISS.


“The muhurath of the film is today and the movie will be going on floors from mid October. With Virat already on board, I am in the process of finalising a heroine, whose details will be revealed soon,” he says.
