Looks like the row between actor Avantika Shetty and the filmmakers of Raju Kannada medium will not be settled anytime soon. Producer K Suresh has asked for more time, till June 21, to decide on whether Avantika Shetty can dub for her portions.
The actress had got a stay order from the court, wanting permission to complete her dubbing and her payment in full. Therefore, no further work on the movie will be done under the court decides.
The film shoot has been completed, and the movie is in the post production stage. Suresh says, “After all these allegations, I don’t want her to dub, but I have to go by what the court says.
Meanwhile I needed this time to come to a decision, which we can come up with as a team after we put forth the matter to the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. Since I had to attend the hearing today, I will be meeting the Film Chamber officials today and decide on further action.”
Avantika will also be presenting her version to the Chamber.The film, starring Gurunandan, is directed by Naresh Kumar and also features Ashika Ranganathan and Russian model Angelina Desedina.
