Designer Annu Patel's Frill and Flare receiving positive response

Annu Patel of Annu's Creation has been creating waves in the fashion industry with her bridalwear range. After getting a raving response in the traditional market as well as Bollywood, Patel's other line ‘Frill and Flare’ is also getting popular.

Patel came up with the idea of F&F as she observed people's response to her outfits. She used to get some casual ethnic wear designed for her personal events and posted it on social media. When everyone admired her fits and showed interest in ordering similar designs, it piqued her curiosity. After some brainstorming, Patel and her team came up with another line where they experimented with gorgeous silhouettes in the casual ethnic space.

Patel and her team have been known for having dreamy and flared outfits and that's how they came up with the name - Frill & Flare. They started by designing a few of them but as they received all the love, it encouraged them to expand.

Frill & Flare is all about Kurtis, flared dresses, Indo-western outfits, and everything that comes under casual ethnic. Recently, the brand sent its dresses to celebs like Tapsee Pannu, Krystle D’Souza, Tina Dutta, etc, and received an encouraging response.

Vadodara-based, Patel founded Annu's Creation in 2011 when she was a student at INIFD. Since then, she has followed her passion and has taken the brand to new heights. The brand's other collection, Folktale, is also popular among women. For this, she took inspiration from the craftsmanship of the tribes of Kutch. The collection combines modern techniques with folk heritage and creates bright and vibrant pieces perfect for the modern-day bride who wants to stay in touch with her roots.

Recently, the brand recreated Alia Bhatt's wedding look with internet sensation Neha Jethwani in an elegant yet minimal ivory mirror lehenga. The look turned out to be absolutely terrific and received great response.
