From the makers of Star Wars: Battlefront and it’s sequel, Battlefront 2, comes Lord of the Rings: Conquest. Developers Pandemic Studios are in possession of one of the most sought-after IPs in the business, and this is all thanks to EA. The game will be based heavily on Pandemic’s own Battlefront games in terms of game mechanics. But it’s the LoTR twist that will make all the difference — we’re sure to see some epic battles, and the ability to play as one of the heroes in the LoTR universe should definitely get people interested in the game. The game will feature ‘good’ and ‘evil’ campaigns, and in the latter, you can play as the legions in Sauron’s evil army including Cave–trolls, Oliphaunts, the Balrog and Sauron himself.
