Logitech has introduced the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 - the company’s first solar-powered keyboard. The Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard powers itself whenever there’s light, even indoors, cutting down on battery use.
“The keyboard is still the best input device for typing emails and IMs, updating your Facebook page or posting responses to your favourite blogs - and the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 is the next big innovation in keyboard technology,” said Subrotah Biswas, Country Manager - India and South West Asia.
The keyboard powers itself through its integrated solar panel. The included solar power app (available for download beginning November 15 at (logitech.com/k750/solarapp) features a lux meter to help you get the necessary light. It is easy to get at-a-glance information about battery levels, and alerts you when you need more power. Logitech’s first solar keyboard can be powered by indoor light and stays charged for at least three months in total darkness.
At only 1/3-inch thick, the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard has smooth rounded edges and thin profile. The low-profile keyboard features Logitech Incurve keys. Using a concave design, Incurve keys support the shape of your fingertips. The keyboard offers Logitech Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity, keeping you connected. Logitech Advanced 2.4 wireless also includes 128-bit AES encryption with the keyboard The tiny Logitech Unifying receiver is small enough to stay in your laptop. You can easily add up to six Logitech Unifying and Unifying-ready mice and keyboards - without the hassle of multiple USB receivers. The Logitech K750 will be available in India for a recommended retail price of `5,995.
Lemon Mobiles
Lemon Mobiles promoted by Fastrack Communications has that it will bring in affordable 3G enabled handsets for the Indian masses. The 3G handset will be in the markets by November 2010 following which the company has plans to launch the Android phone.
The phone will be named as the W100 3G phone and will be available in the price bracket of INR 3,500. While mainstream consumers now are obsessed with the megapixels available on the camera, built-in memory, FM radio etc, launch of 3G services will rope in a new host of buzzwords like ‘dual camera’, Mobile TV and video calling to the common man’s mobile.
The 3G handset will be available across the country. Some of the features which the Lemon 3G handset will have are live TV, video calling on 3G network, browser, multimedia and dual camera.
